Hi, I’m Angela. I’m a Yoga Alliance 200HR qualified Hatha Yoga teacher, doula, women’s circle facilitator, and lover of ritual and magic. I’m passionate about reclaiming rites of passage and re-introducing the power and magic of ritual into our modern lives. I began practicing yoga over 15 years ago, long before I appreciated its power to help me on a journey of pain, fatigue and anxiety after being diagnosed with an auto-immune disease. Throughout this journey, yoga has been one of the main tools in my ‘toolbox’ that has led me to reclaiming my innate power and wisdom.  Yoga has always been there for me and has afforded me the opportunity to reconnect with myself, especially at those times when I’ve most needed it. More recently, I’ve learned the importance of tuning into my own cycles and how this influences every aspect of my life, and I’m keen to share this with as many people as possible. We are a part of nature and, like nature, we are cyclical beings. When we embrace these ebbs and flows there is much less difficulty and more grace in our lives.

I’m passionate about working with the body as a whole system instead of something composed of separate parts. I have a particular interest in the gut-brain axis and the evolving research regarding the vagus nerve and trauma informed practice. I draw on these experiences in my work as a yoga teacher and doula because I know the power of slowing down, tuning in and listening to your body.

I believe you are an intuitive and powerful being. I’m passionate about supporting you to connect with your body’s innate wisdom, to tune into your gut and womb, your intuitive centres and reconnect with your body.
