Are you curious about your body as wild and innately wise? Perhaps you want to know more about living around the cycles of nature? Are you pregnant and feeling the need for connection with your baby and others on this wild journey that is pregnancy?

Pre-natal Yoga Series:

My passion lies in teaching a slower style class that affords you the time to come home, to create space for connection and deep listening to your body, soul and innate wisdom so you can meet yourself where you are at in any given moment, either on or off the mat. My focus extends beyond yoga, however using yoga as a catalyst for connection to yourself and others is the common thread throughout my work.

My classes are more than just a standard yoga class that has been adapted to suit pregnant bodies. In addition to a combination of dynamic and restorative yoga shapes to help prepare you for birth and support your changing body in pregnancy, I include meditations to help ground and tune into your body and your baby and take a rare moment to slow down, breathwork to help with energy, sleep and a sense of calm. I also draw on other creative practices and rituals to help you connect with yourself and others in the class. I incorporate different themes each week and provide information and handouts on different topics to support you in pregnancy, birth and post-partum and equip you with invaluable physical, emotional and spiritual resources.  There is a particular focus on self-enquiry to support you in preparing for the birth of your baby and also the birth of yourself as a mother.

Next 5 weeks series - BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL

Coming up … 5 week prenatal yoga series to nourish and nurture your mind, body and spirit. A sacred container to be held and witnessed in on your journey to becoming a mother, for the first or subsequent times. We will use breath, movement, sound, meditation and journalling to explore your changing body, to connect with yourself, your baby and others and to build strength and trust in your body.

I will share resources for pregnancy, birth and beyond as well as strategies for supporting your nervous system.

Every body welcome. All levels of yoga experience and all  stages of pregnancy welcome, however it is particularly aimed at 2nd and 3rd trimesters. I tend to encourage people in their 1st trimester to rest.

In order to create a container for attendees this will be a closed group after the first session. It is preferred that attendees commit to the whole 5 weeks however if this is not possible you will need to at least commit to the first session and can attend whichever sessions you are able to after that.

I have been working with Ange online in group prenatal yoga classes, through the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of my pregnancy...I have found a beautiful little pocket of weekly calm, support, and empowerment that has absolutely benefitted my physical and mental health during the journey to Motherhood. The classes are paced with a relaxed flow, giving us time to sink into poses, breathwork, and meditation while always being encouraged to listen to our own bodies as we go.

Pregnancy, birth and post-partum support: I am passionate about supporting women and birthing people in a holistic way to prepare for the life-changing rite of passage that is childbirth. I believe in addressing not only the physical side of birth but the mental, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects. I support you to understand the current birth culture and system, so that you can make informed decisions about the best birthing choices for you. I believe in every mother being able to take the lead and trust their intuition as they navigate pregnancy, birth and beyond. I can incorporate yoga into pre-natal session upon request.
